Parking Reminder: Please remember to park at Village Bowl if you are at CMH during the daytime hours. The shuttle runs every fifteen minutes from Village Bowl to CMH during the hours of 0545-1000. After 1000 the shuttle is stationed at Village Bowl for individuals arriving to work between 1000-1300. If you require a return to Village Bowl between the hours of 1000-1300, please call the Gallery outside the Women’s Center entrance at Ext. 4870, or the shuttle driver directly at 414.640.6132, to request a shuttle return. If you are parking at CMH when you are supposed to park off site, you may get a ticket as the lots are monitored on a daily basis. Thanks for your cooperation!
Student Packets: Students can now download instruction packets. These packets contain valuable information for you about CMH and the policies that apply to your experience at CMH.
Student Dress Code: Highlights from the Employee Dress code:
Observation/ Off-Unit Clinical Experiences can be set up directly with the contact person from the Student Affiliation Department Reference Contact List. There is no need to make those arrangements through the education liaison. Please plan your off-unit observation experiences for when you are here with your students. When a student is doing an off-unit observation, please provide the unit staff with a method to contact you. You should not leave your clinical group on the unit to go check on your off-unit student. The unit staff will contact you if the need arises.
Instructor Packets: Instructors can now download instruction packets. These packets contain valuable information for you about CMH and the policies that apply to your experience at CMH.
Student Signature List: The nursing student signature list no longer needs to be filled out since all the charts have a signature sheet in them. Please make sure the students are signing the signature sheet in the chart for documentation purposes. Thanks!
Epic EMAR: CMH uses the Epic electronic medication administration record (EMAR) system. Please call Kerry Fick at 262.257.3023 to set up an Epic class to teach the students how to use the EMAR.
Precepted Students: We are asking to have the precepted students attend our general hospital orientation. We offer this orientation every other week throughout the year. Please call Kerry Fick at 262.257.3023 to schedule the students for one of the general hospital orientation sessions.
Medication Safety: Please help us to ensure patient safety by utilizing these processes to prevent medication errors.
