A Celebration of Healthy Hearts
You're Invited to a Special Heartfelt Celebration
Join us Saturday, May 17, 2008, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm for a heart-smart, fun-filled day at Community Memorial Hospital's free health fair, "A Celebration of Healthy Hearts." This valuable event will put life-saving information in your hands and help you learn about the latest improvements in heart healthcare.
Learn about heart health and celebrate Community Memorial Hospital's five-year anniversary of its Heart and Vascular Center. This event will include special exhibits, gifts and healthy snacks. FREE screenings will also be offered:
- Cholesterol screening (limited availability – registration taken at the event)
- Blood Pressure screening
- Waist Circumference and Body Mass Index screening
Other highlights of the event include:
- A live radio remote with B93.3 FM's Cindy Huber from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
- Special displays, including flower pots decorated by students from McArthur Elementary in Germantown and Benjamin Franklin School in Menomonee Falls.
- Fruit and vegetable plants, as well as flowers, available for purchase from Shady Lane Nursery (cash/check only)
- Purchase heart-themed gift items from Community Memorial's Timeless Treasures Gift Shop, as well as items to get you started on a 10,000 Steps Walking Program.
- Heart-healthy snacks
This special event will be held at Community Memorial Hospital's Treiber Conference Center.
