Community Memorial Hospital Behavioral Health Services provides individualized treatment services and clinical coordination designed to help those affected by behavioral health issues, psychiatric disorders or substance abuse. Highly integrated services facilitate rapid stabilization of acute symptoms and enduring recovery.
Community Memorial Hospital provides a full array of behavioral health services, including:
- an Inpatient Behavioral Health Center that offers treatment for acute symptoms associated with problems such as severe stress, depression, anxiety, thought disorders. Inpatient services are provided in a specialized unit within a general hospital, enhancing safety and the integration of behavioral and physical aspects of health care.
- a Senior Care Program designed to address the complexities of aging and behavioral health. The program assists seniors to regain and maintain their health and well-being in a safe environment.
- an Inpatient Alcohol and Drug Detoxification program that provides safe and compassionate means for withdrawal from drugs of addiction, such as alcohol, narcotics or anti-anxiety drugs.
- a Partial Hospitalization for Behavioral Health program for the support required for individuals to achieve sustained recovery and prevention of relapse. This program is available from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each weekday.
- an ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy) program that offers safe, effective treatment for individuals suffering from severe depression that does not respond to other medical intervention
- Outpatient Treatment for Alcohol and Drug Addiction that provides assessment as well as individual and group treatment in a comfortable, friendly setting. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) focuses on the early stages of recovery and preparation for relapse prevention.
- Consultation and Liaison Services for healthcare professionals, community agencies and facilities to help assess and manage the behavioral health needs of adults.
