
Lifeline is a communication system that allows subscribers to live independently in their homes while still remaining in touch with emergency help. The system allows an added sense of "security" for users and reassurance for their family and friends.
The Department of Nutrition Services provides patient foodservice, a full service cafeteria and the Community Cafe available for employees and visitors.
Additional services offered through the Nutrition Services Department include inpatient and outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy, nutrition screening and assessment for inpatients, Meals on Wheels and Catering Services.
Nutrition Services also offers an Outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy Service. Through this service, patients are counseled on diet modification individualized for their needs. A physician prescription is preferred, but not necessary.
All dietitians and dietetic technicians are registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, are certified in the State of Wisconsin and are members of the American Dietetic Association. Utilizing an interdisciplinary approach, the dietitians and technicians focus on individualized care working closely with the patients, families and health care providers.
