The Emergency Department of Community Memorial Hospital provides care for individuals with emergent, urgent and non-urgent problems. The care is a collaborative effort of medicine, nursing and other disciplines.
Our doctors are board-certified Emergency Physicians. All of our nurses are Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified. Along with high-tech skills, our staff treats our patients, families and other internal and external customers courteously and with compassion.
Emergencies treated at Community Memorial include, but are not limited to: pain management, cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, obstetrical, genitourinary, gynecological, dental, eye, ear, nose and throat, metabolic, neurological, psychiatric, toxicological, trauma and burns.
The Emergency Department participates actively in tissue procurement and facilitates organ donation. We are also closely involved with community disaster preparedness.
