The Community Memorial Hospital Laboratory offers programs that reach out and address our community's varied health concerns.
This is a screening for Total Cholesterol and does not differentiate between "good" and "bad" cholesterol. This test is a screening only and is not meant to replace a physician office visit. Total Cholesterol levels may vary from one reading to the next. The Total Cholesterol value is only one of several factors your physician will consider to determine your coronary risk. To recheck your Total Cholesterol, contact your physician. If you do not have a personal physician, call CareConnection at 262-251-1001.
The laboratory works with employers through Community Workforce Health by collecting urine samples for drug testing.
The primary goal of the Clozapine Management Service Program is to assist clients who have schizophrenia and who have chosen together with their physician to be treated with Clozapine, an antipsychotic medication.
One person in every 200 treated with Clozapine may develop a blood disorder called agranulocytosis, which can be medically serious. With regular monitoring of the white blood cell count (WBC) this can be avoided.
