Free screening for blood pressure readings that may be abnormal, and could lead to stroke and heart disease. No appointment is necessary. Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. until noon.
This service provides total cholesterol screening. No fasting is necessary. The results are sent to patient and/or physician upon request. The cost is $5. This is a walk-in service provided Monday through Friday from 8 to 11 a.m. and from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Lab.
This services assesses driving skills and advises people about their ability to drive. It is available to anyone experiencing physiological, musculoskeletal or neurological changes which may affect their ability to drive. The assessment is performed by trained occupational therapists and takes about one hour.
Please note that a physician's script is needed for the driving assessment. The fee for the assessment is approximately $150 and may be covered by Medicare. A written report is sent to the referring physician, who can choose to send the report to Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Free adult hearing screening are periodically offered. The screening consists of a simple, one level hearing test with referral to the individual's physician if indicated. Pre-registration is required. Contact the Speech Therapy Department at 262-257-3080 for more information.
Our Mammography Screening service provides a two-view mammogram of each breast, clinical breast exam and instruction in breast self-exam. It is offered for women age 35 and over who have not had a mammogram in the past year, are not pregnant or breastfeeding, have no previous history of breast cancer, are not receiving radiation or chemotherapy and do not have an identified breast lump at this time. A physician's prescription is necessary.

A prostate screening will be held in the Cancer Care Center, including a digital rectal exam by a urologist and a PSA blood test. A fee of $15 for the blood test will be collected at the time of your appointment. All participants will be encouraged to view an educational video on prostate cancer during the session. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
A free skin cancer screening will be held in the Cancer Care Center for those with a suspicious mole or lesion, and no previous history of skin cancer and NOT under care of a dermatologist at present. This service is not for existing chronic conditions, and those who have been treated by a dermatologist in the past should return to that doctor.
Participants should arrive 10 minutes early to complete the registration process and view an educational video on the prevention of skin cancer. Registration is required.
