The Center for Pain Rehabilitation provides a continuum of care within Rehabilitation Services to address the physical, psychological, social and/or vocational functioning of persons served.
Patients served include those with cervical pain, temporo-mandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, thoracic and lumbar pain, headaches (migraine, muscle contraction, cluster, post concussion syndrome), pain associated with cancer, musculoskeletal pain, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, myofascial pain and more.
The Center for Pain Rehabilitation is well equipped with a complete circuit of fitness machines and aerobic exercise equipment, a therapeutic pool and a full gym of job simulation equipment.

Chronic pain is pain that is not necessarily connected with an identifiable physical condition, pain for which there is no obvious treatment, and pain which is long-term, lasting well beyond the expected healing period for the initial condition.

A key part of the definition of chronic pain is its significant negative impact on a person’s life. Major lifestyle changes that could result include loss of employment, less satisfying relationships with friends and family, decreased activity and a range of psychological changes which may include depression, loss of self-confidence and abuse of drugs to manage pain symptoms. Our team will address your pain issues from a physical perspective, but will also assist you in managing other areas affected by your pain issues.
