Women's Pelvic Health Center

Pelvic health issues are a difficult fact of life that nearly every woman will face at some point during her lifetime. Pain. Discomfort. Incontinence. Sexual dysfunction. Due to embarrassment or a simple lack of knowledge, many women are reluctant to seek medical treatment for these types of conditions. Sometimes they believe these conditions are just something they must accept as part of the normal aging process. These women need to understand that a much better quality of life is possible with the kind of treatments available at the Women’s Pelvic Health Center at Community Memorial Hospital.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive gynecological care to the women of our community, focusing on treatment of pelvic disorders by offering therapy, pelvic floor rehabilitation and surgical options, including minimally invasive and robotic surgery.

What to Expect

The goal of the Women’s Pelvic Health Center is to deliver comprehensive care for all aspects of pelvic health, including incontinence, uterine prolapse, pelvic floor rehabilitation and pelvic pain.

In collaboration with the physicians and the nurse practitioner, you will have input in determining what will be the best treatment approach.

All patients at the Women’s Pelvic Health Center will have an initial evaluation with a nurse practitioner, followed by visits with one of the physicians.

Based on these assessments, the patient and physician together will determine the best course of treatment. Once your treatment is completed, you will receive a final evaluation from your physician. If more follow-up is needed, the nurse practitioner will continue to work with you until your problem has been solved.
