More than 300 guests had a blast at the 21st annual Spring Splendor ~ Rock Around the Clock on Saturday, April 9. Co-chairs Marty and Debra Schallock helped transform the Hilton Milwaukee City Center into a 1950’s-themed venue. Poodle skirts, saddle shoes, blue jeans and leather jackets were all the rage! The evening festivities included silent and voice auctions, terrific raffle prizes, and twisting to the music of Bobby Way and the Fabulous Wayouts
CMH President Dennis Pollard welcomed the guests and Dr. Dennis Shepherd thanked the guests for their support of the Emergency Room at Community Memorial Hospital. He told the story of patient Patricia Vento, whose leg and life were saved by using the latest technology for trauma patients. Mrs. Vento was in attendance and showed her appreciation of the outstanding care received at Community Memorial. WISN -TV personality Portia Young was the guest emcee of the evening.
